For their offices in Münster, Cologne or Leverkusen, with 2 days remote and 3 days on-site, they are currently looking for a Senior Data Platform / Cloud Engineer to join their team as soon as possible.

Your Role
You will work on complex cloud and data platform environments, contributing to managed cloud operations, infrastructure automation and scalable data solutions across a diverse international client base.
Your Environment
Projects focus on cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes operations and data platform engineering across industries. The team works with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and major cloud providers including AWS, GCP and Azure.
What you bring
Must-haves:
- Practical hands-on experience with data platforms such as Apache Spark, Databricks or Azure Data Lake
- Proven experience with at least one major public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP or Azure
- Strong Infrastructure as Code mindset with solid experience in Terraform, Ansible and Git
- Experience with Kubernetes and its tooling ecosystem including Lens, k9s, kubectl, Helm and Kustomize
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Go or Java
- Solid English skills for day-to-day communication in a multinational team
- Understanding of stability patterns and their role in creating resilient, highly available infrastructure
- Experience with advanced IAM in public cloud environments and corresponding networking concepts
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of securing cloud environments and multi-account strategies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions
- Database administration skills covering SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Observability expertise with tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry or Datadog
